Ryan M. Hafey

Ryan Hafey is a committed immigration attorney whose legal career reflects a blend of academic distinction and practical experience, guided by a deep-rooted dedication to social justice.

He began his legal work at The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, supporting the Department of Airports legal team with diligence and insight. He later transitioned into immigration law at a major firm in downtown San Francisco, where he handled a wide range of asylum and deportation matters. His clients primarily came from India, Nepal, and Central America, and he developed a strong understanding of the challenges they faced.

In 2021, Ryan joined a law firm in San Leandro, continuing his work on behalf of immigrants and asylum seekers. His representation has helped many individuals navigate the complex asylum process, with particularly strong outcomes for clients from Haryana and Punjab, India.

Now working alongside Shahzeen, Ryan extends Immigration and Naturalization legal services nationwide. He is licensed to practice in California and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations before completing his Juris Doctorate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
