Edited update: I did not leave you to fend for yourselves in court, you agreed to a settlement, refused to sign, wasted the court's time for refusing to sign and allowing me to dismiss, and then hired a new attorney who claimed to represent you. You then contacted my insurance company attempting to force them to accept your own claim. Your attorney demanded I offer you "a 5 figure" number, which made for a good laugh, only to come back later with a nominal request, despite my adamant refusal to subject myself to a shakedown. I am sorry you feel this way. Communication is a top priority at our firm, and we are unaware of any failure to adequately communicate with our clients. Please note, an outcome with which a client is not happy is not equivalent to poor performance, as each matter is unique and there are no guaranteed final outcomes in the litigation process. While lay persons may feel a case is “very easy”, they often lack the legal expertise and experience to make such a determination, which is often why they seek representation.
