Biography
Jennifer L. King is committed to protecting the interests of her clients inside and outside the courtroom. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the University of Illinois. As a law student, she took a deep interest in domestic violence. She gained experience at the University of Illinois Domestic Violence Clinic and the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Clinic. These experiences in particular inspired her to begin her own family-centered practice after graduation. In January 2012, The Law Office of Jennifer L. King, PC opened its doors. Since then, it has incorporated and expanded to include co-counsel, paralegals, interns, and an assistant. While it has been presented with the opportunity to expand further, the office strongly values the attributes specific to its size—collaboration, one-to-one support, and a family environment.
