Hello, my name is George Derieg. I am a licensed attorney in the State of California. 

I started out as a Deputy Public Defender, and I have personally handled thousands of criminal cases. When my wife gave birth to our first child, I quit my job as a public defender while out on paternity leave and started my own practice. I enjoy estate planning.

With estate planning, I get to know my clients and watch their families grow and expand financially and socially. Prospective clients aren't looking for a lawyer to do an estate plan, they are looking for a lifetime relationship with a human being who is reliable, not too expensive, and helps guide them and their assets through their lives in order to prevent a lot of very expensive and avoidable consequences.

But we do so much more, we will sit down with you and with your assets and find out what your goals are, what the best type of estate plan is needed. I have written hundreds of estate plans, and no two estates are the same, and we do not use boilerplate.
