Frank Lada Kucera

Hired Thomasson Law and subsequently moved to Frank Kucera in Fall of 2015 to negotiate and manage a debt reduction and pay-off plan. Over the first 3 years, they accumulated payments from us and negotiated a few pay-offs which were executed. By mid 2019, our account built a large excess that woul...d likely cover most of the remaining accounts. Over the last 15 months there has been no activity on the account and in the last 4 months, we cannot get anyone from Kucera Group to response to emails, calls, etc. We just want action on the accounts or a refund of the remaining funds in the account.

I hired Frank Kucera's debt settlement company to negotiate and settle my credit card debts. I successfully completed the program per our agreement, and the final credit card was paid in full in June 2020. By that time I'd contributed more money to my escrow savings account than was needed, almost $8...,000. The escrow money is supposed to be returned to me within 30 days. But it's now October 14, 2020, still no reimbursement! He's ignoring all calls, emails, certified letters, and even requests from his/my legal representative asking for reimbursement. I'm beyond upset. Do not trust this man, his integrity is sorely lacking.

Over seven years ago in 2005 I hired a firm that Frank L. Kucera worked for as an attorney. Mr. Kucera was assigned to manage my case. My contract advised that my debt issues could be resolved in three years. However, my debt was not resolved according to the contract due to mismanagement by Mr. Kuce...ra. Seven years later I had been sued, my wages garnished and I had to eventually go to the CA State Bar Association in 2013 to get my trust balance returned to me. Mr. Kucera did not seem to care at all about managing my case. At one point I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in 2011 because Mr. Kucera did not return my calls or seem to do any work on my case. Mr. Kucera only responded to the Better Business Bureau stating that he needed more time to ‘look into my case.’ Eventually the Better Business Bureau closed the case as unresolved because Mr. Kucera would not respond. The Better Business Bureau then recommended that I contact the CA State Bar for assistance. I have worked with dozens of attorneys and Mr. Kucera is by far the worst I have ever encountered. He is an extremely unethical and unresponsive attorney who made my case much more difficult.
