The Go-To Worker's Comp Attorney

I placed my trust in Ms. Borg after being injured for the third time in the same workplace and I was provided with a fair and very decent settlement thanks to her handling of my case. Ms. Borg has valuable experience I believe, due to her dedication to Workers Comp law which is always subject to cha...nge. I absolutely recommend that any injured worker seek professional representation. Ms. Borg is absolutely well qualified because she simply "knows her stuff." If you have never retained a lawyer before, you need to know that it is important to be completely honest with your attorney and if you don't get a call back or the information you seek, call back! Ask questions until you understand! Workers Comp lawyers handle tons of cases and they are busy people. I often had questions and concerns about my rights, procedures, benefits, etc. after being injured in the workplace and my phone calls and emails were consistently answered or addressed. In addition, I would like to add that Ms. Borg and her staff are easy to communicate with and know the kinds of issues injured workers have! I was always treated with respect, kindness, and in the end, a very satisfactory outcome. I give Susan Borg and her firm 2 big thumbs up and a whole lot of my personal gratitude for all the positive work they did in my behalf.

I would recommend against using Ms Borg, strongly.

I feel that having Ms Borg represent me was the biggest mistake I have made in my life. My case was with the City of Palo Alto where I was a Firefighter and a Paramedic of 20 years. In my effort to fight for my benefits after 20 years of service to the CPA Ms Borg was worse than useless. I c...ould never get a hold of her. Always felt like she was not trying, just going through the motions. It took 5 and one half years to get in front of a Judge, 5 1/2 YEARS. The settlement that I got for myself was better than the one she suggested I take. I need a new shoulder joint, yes a shoulder joint replacement that she failed to get me. She advised me to take 25K$ with no benefits of any kind. The day I finally get in front of a Judge she tells me. Whatever happens today is it. She will not represent me anymore and I should take the 25K$, my arm that does not work and hurts like hell and go away. Oh she will take her cut $$$ first. Now I am the one dealing with the Cities Lawyer as she sits there. I have to deal with this and think great now I have to get another Lawyer if I do not take what the City wants to give me. FIVE PLUS YEARS and she is just sitting there silent. The City Lawyer says anything over 50K will have to be approved by the City Council and we will have to continue this . Now Sue will not do anything anymore, I will have to find a New Lawyer at this point. I do not live in the area anymore. Its been 5 1/2 years of nothing. I have a right arm I can not lift up high enough to brush my teeth with pain that is about to be the end of me. I will never be able to work as a Firefighter or Paramedic again, I am disabled with several injuries both physical and mental and she gives me the big, F_U after 5 +years I get 48k$ in a settlement and no benefits, The city wins, I can not keep fighting when my Lawyer is doing nothing, no x-rays, no mri. Just straight up nothing. So I end up getting screwed and making money for my Lawyer. She would have gotten 12%, I think it was of 25K$ I got her approx 12% of 48K$ I get her more money for screwing me after 5 1/2 years I guess that is the insult added to the injury.. It is , or was for me. Very hard to find a Lawyer at the time of my life that I was injured the stress was killing me. I took Sue because she was recommended by a Lawyer who had too much work with several other cases of Firefighters having legal issues with the City of Palo Alto ( CPA is one evil sh-t hole). It is very important that you get a good Lawyer, very, very important. I had a gut feeling after about 2 years that I should maybe find another Lawyer but, after 2 years you have time invested, etc I can not recommend Ms Borg to anyone. I would tell you the opposite. RUN THE OTHER WAY!! My email address is [email protected]... Feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to talk to you about my dealings with Ms Borg. I give all the people I deal with the respect to talk to me about anything I say or write. I think it would only be fair to Ms Borg. I am not a nameless faceless poster. Also dealing with the City of Palo Alto is not a simple thing, it is one corrupt, political ,sh-thole, where there is no such thing as truth, justice or anything that you thing is a right as a human or us citizen. Public Government totally out of control and costing the tax payers millions of dollars and their future, while the people on top get huge retirements. Did you know the CPA buys it's city managers Million dollar homes that the tax payers pay for? just for starters.. Loans and huge money also.. I still wonder what kind of deal she cut with them to screw me over??? She was just so worthless, it make you wonder? BTW, I have a video on Youtube, Fireman needs help, abuse of power, FYI
