Going to a lawyer's office is never fun, but Laura made it very easy. I had been separated from my spouse for more than 10 years after a very brief marriage - but never got a divorce, for fear of opening a pandora's box of unreasonable demands, old wounds and various other real and imagined scena...rios that could go wrong. Even a previous visit to another attorney didn't help me get the ball rolling on the divorce, due to the sanctimonious and judgemental service I received. Laura was just simply amazing - she was professional, stuck to the facts, efficient, and gave excellent advice on what we needed to do to take care of my situation. All I had to do was sit back and follow her lead. My fears just melted away after meeting with her, as she was able to address all my questions and concerns. I was also very impressed with her communication - I had set my calendar on certain milestone dates on our process to call her, but she would always be the one to either call or email me with a status update. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone who is looking for a family lawyer who is highly knowledgeable, very responsive and also compassionate. My only regret is not meeting her sooner - a big burden has been lifted from my back.
