Biography
Kimberly Madigan is a Certified Family Law Specialist* and founding partner of Madigan & Lewis, LLP, a family law firm located in Redwood City representing clients throughout the Bay Area. She is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California.
*The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Madigan was selected to Super Lawyers in 2019 and 2020 and Rising Starts in 2012-2015.
Ms. Madigan is an experienced litigator and handles complex child custody and financial matters. Ms. Madigan is also trained in mediation and collaborative law. She is currently serving on the Board of CP CAL (Collaborative Practice California) and is President Elect for 2021. She is a former chair of Collaborative Practice San Mateo County.
In 2015, she served as Chair of the Family Law Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association.
Ms. Madigan is a member of the State Bar of California; ACFLS; San Mateo County Bar Association; the Collaborative Practice Group of San Mateo County; the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; and, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
She co-authored "The Impact of the Budget Cutbacks on California Family Law Courts" in Strategies for Family Law in California, 2014 ed.: Leading Lawyers on Understanding Developments in California Family Law, published by Thompson Reuters.
