Maureen Johnson - The Immigration Lawyer You Should Have on Your Case

I first got to know Maureen in 2008 in Washington DC when she was assigned to handle my immigration case. When you come to the United States and your immigration status is uncertain, the lawyer you would want on your case is exactly Maureen. Maureen is diligent, effective, pro-active, passionate, as...suring, pushful, aggressive, engaging... and I could go on non-stop. The picture I am trying to paint here is that when you find yourself in a complex immigration system and situation, you need someone who will guide you through and help you navigate through the hurdles of such a system. What was particularly stunning to me was not just her mastery of the US immigration system, but her effectiveness in navigating through the system and getting resounding successes. Maureen took time to read through my affidavit and through all my supporting documents. She called me often just to make sure I was ok and to assure me that she will do everything in her power to ensure success with my case. She was frank and realistic with her professional advise to me. She is easy to talk to. She listens and acts promptly. Maureen identified all contradictory elements with my case and supporting documents. She had several review sessions with me up till the last minute to make sure that I was fully prepared for my interview at the immigration office. Thanks to Maureen, my complex immigration situation ended up feeling like a no-brainer. Maureen was very proactive and would email or call me whenever she thought of or found something that could negatively impact my case. She was responsive to my emails and phone calls almost promptly. She was not at all distant. After an excellent job on my case, I have recommended her to several people, including my brother and they all had better things to say about Maureen. She has had a 100% percent success rate with all those that I recommended her to, be it at the immigration office or at the immigration court. She is definitely the lawyer you would want to handle your immigration issues. Her diligence in preparing her clients and their cases also translates into the effective, logical and convincing way in which she presents and argues her cases in court. It is always very consoling and re-assuring to constantly hear your lawyer call and tell you that all will be fine and she will do her best to fight for you - this is just who Maureen is. I will recommend Maureen at all times without reservation.
