hard working lawyer without reservation

the first time I met Maureen J., without starting working with her, I saw in her some compassion ; someone with kindness. So when I started working with Maureen on my immigration case , she handled my case as it was her own with enthusiasm and devotion without any reservation ; Maureen will tell you... regarding your case everything that you should know. She is a kind of person that when she works on your case she will put all her effort and make sure at the end the success will follow. Before I start working with her I was so down but once I met her I felt so confident.

One of the kindest am

Maureen worked on both my case and my husband's whose naturalization case was pending for over 3 years before he decided to hire the firm she was working at time. They wrote a letter on his behalf and followed up a few times. He was finally given a second interview, to which Maureen escorted him. ...He is now a naturalized citizen. She also assisted me in preparing to file for a motion to reopen by writing a brief on my behalf and guiding in writing my affidavits. Although my case is still pending, she provided me enough guidance to enough that the case is a success. Maureen is a compassionate, knowledgable and professional lawyer. After dealing with over 5 lawyers in the past that cared very little about me personally and are more focus on charging me more money, it was refreshing to find a lawyer like Maureen really listened and cared. She answered every question we had, and carefully reviewed every evidence we submitted. I highly recommend her and I promise you will not be disappointed in her services.

Maureen Johnson is the Lawyer you want by your side when you are in immigration difficulties.

When I was put under deportation I felt like I had no hope left, Maureen was by my side, not only to gather the necessary papers to help persuade the court judge to let me stay, but also to comfort me and listen when I needed someone to talk to. I was very surprised by all the research she ...did about my country and the knowledge she brought up including some statistics from my country most of which I did not know. Maureen is focused when she does her job and she pays a lot of attention to details. She makes sure you are able to give very detailed information. Whenever I had a court appearance, Maureen made sure that she prepared me very well, she asked so many questions that when I finally appeared before the Judge, most of the questions were familiar. Maureen is very open, she is also a good communicator, she does not only communicate via emails, she also called whenever she needed to or when I did not reply her emails on time. I never felt like a stranger in front of Maureen and she always treated me like someone she had known all her life, she is very warm and yet takes her job seriously. Maureen is not the kind of Lawyer you will ever forget. By the time my case was done, she had left a lasting impression on my family and me. Since Maureen helped me to get my green card a couple of years ago, I have not forgotten her, every time I meet someone who has immigration problems, I always think about Maureen, my family and I are very grateful for what she did to us and I hope she will be able to continue to help other families like she helped us. Ms. Maureen Johnson as a lawyer working on my immigration case was such a huge blessing.

Great advocate! My wife will not be here but for Maureen.

Maureen does her job with passion. She is very knowledgeable, does her research to find supporting facts for her arguments. I remember when we sat on the table in her office going through some of the research she had done to support my wife's case how informed she was. There were facts she dug up du...ring her research that left my mouth open and built my confidence. Going through a tough case is emotionally draining. Maureen is not only good at the legal aspect but also helped us deal with the emotional roller coaster we were all going through. Even though ours was one of the toughest cases in the world, I felt reassured by her preparation and her confidence. My wife had been placed on deportation and other Lawyers had told us there was no way out- that she had to leave the country and then reapply to re-enter (they said that takes about 10 years). In court, the evidences she had gathered where all relevant and overwhelming. Her recommendation to get an expert witness to support her arguments was a slam dunk. Maureen kept us informed at each stage and was very clear and upfront with what to expect. She called, emailed and called again if we didn't respond soon enough. It was as if she was handling her sisters case. She took it really personal. We are proud to call her our Lawyer. I will forever be happy for the work Maureen did for us. The positive rulings the Judges handed down, first cancelling the deportation and later in another trial issuing her a green card, was only possible because of Maureen's hard work, persistence and focus. If I had to do it again, it will be Maureen Johnson.

The best immigration lawyer for hopeless cases

Ms. Maureen not only is the greatest lawyer I have ever met but she is also an amazing person, before I met with Ms. Maureen I consulted with two different lawyers who told me that my brother’s case was too difficult and hopeless; they both told me that there was nothing to do, that we didn’t have g...rounds to request asylum, that it couldn’t be done. When I saw Ms. Maureen, I explained my little brother’s situation; it was extremely difficult and complicated. When everyone told me, there was nothing I could do, Maureen made it happen, and she is my miracle lawyer. I have never seen anyone who is more passionate, generous, and available like Ms. Maureen is. If you have a complicated asylum case, which many tell you that is hopeless, trust me Ms. Maureen will do whatever it will take to help you. Not only she was there for my brother, but also she was available for my mother, for any questions or clarifications we requested and me. I will never be able to thank her enough; she saved my brother’s life in presenting all the necessary evidence in his case, from the country condition to testimonials, and country reports. What I like about her practice is that she is not your typical lawyer who only see the financial gain, she is there emotionally, I felt like I had found a friend, she didn’t give me false hopes nor she promised the unobtainable, she guided me through everything. If it wasn’t for her, I think our life would have been so miserable going through all the craziness of this broken immigration system. She is the best of the best
