Perform patent preparation, prosecution, and opinion work (invalidity, non-infringement, patentability). Clients have included internet search provider, audio technology company, global consulting firm, federal government VAR, networking and telecommunications giant, packaging manufacturer, universities, crane company, and railcar leasing and manufacturing company.

While I have not focused my practice on litigation, I have experience with legal research, brief drafting, and general litigation support. In particular, I was involved in a series of trademark litigations spanning over three years while at Brinks. These cases led to several appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

All of what I do is related to intellectual property (see other categories below). Counsel clients in strategically managing intellectual property assets, often within strict budgets. Provide copyright services and advice. Counsel regarding the interplay between patents and trade secrets, and recommend which to use depending onto situation.

Perform trademark searching, clearance and registration services. Services include filing and prosecuting trademark applications to registration. Provide counseling related to oppositions and to assertions of infringement in federal court.
