Jack Russo (former Managing Partner of Russo & Hale LLP) is an attorney who leads Computerlaw Group LLP, a boutique law firm that serves entrepreneurs and mid growth stage companies in the protection of their ideas, inventions, and businesses. Mr. Russo has more than 35 years of legal experience supporting high-tech industry professionals' in Intellectual Property and Litigation and has a distinguished reputation among Northern California's elite Hi-Tech companies.
Even though Computerlaw Group represents clients worldwide, the bulk of our work is for clients in the Bay Area including Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, San Francisco, San Jose, Marin County and the East Bay. The firm specializes in the areas of Internet, e-commerce, software and their intellectual property protection, infringement, and licensing and has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases which involve multiple litigations in multiple state and federal courts.
Jack Russo is a member of the State Bars of California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, New York and District of Columbia (DC). He holds his J.D. from UCLA School of Law as well as dual M.B.A. degrees from Columbia University and from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business; he also holds a joint Bachelor's and master's degree from City University of New York in Urban Administration and Computer & Information Science. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Russo worked full-time as a computer programmer and software analyst in New York.
