Alvin L. Fishman

Al Fishman has been in private practice since 1984 in San Francisco and prior to that was with the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. for six years. Mr. Fishman completed his undergraduate education at S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo and graduated from Antioch School of Law. Mr. Fishman's law practice is primarily in the areas of general corporate and securities counseling and transactional work for individuals, startups, emerging growth and mezzanine stage companies; securities broker dealer and investment advisor counseling; broker dealer, investment advisor and securities litigation and arbitration defense. He also offers regulatory defense services, frequently appearing before the Securities and Exchange Commission, state securities and insurance regulatory agencies and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA"). Mr. Fishman also has considerable experience in negotiating and preparing endorsement contracts for sports and entertainment personalities. He has been a guest lecturer at securities, broker dealer and investment advisor conferences.
