I hired this attorney several years ago for a simple personal injury case. When her behavior, actions and demeanor failed to align with her glowing 5 star reviews, i wrote a truthful review on yelp.com about my experience with her and her firm. It didn't even near touch on most of the things she a...ctually did. But, since then, she is embarked on a non-stop bullying, harassment and defamation and campaign against me. I had been seriously injured in an accident and i really needed help and medical assistance and she neglected me and my case. I told the basics of what happened in a run of the mill review and she has been on this defamation, libel and slander warpath ever since. This goes all the way back to 2013! Originally, Dawn Hassell contacted me and messaged several times unsolicited on Match.com shortly before my accident. She manipulated me into meeting her for poetry events and we were in touch off of the Match.com platform. Since she had 5 star reviews, I thought i could trust her to help me with a basic personal injury case. After all, her Match.com profile stated that she was an attorney. When it came time to finally meet in her office, after the accident, to assess the broken bones, injuries, she did not show up to the meeting in her office in san francisco. Instead, she had the receptionist, a seeming college type youth, do the intake forms. I was given no instructions or received no medical assistance, guidance, referrals or help from the young man or herself. Weeks and Months went by as i waited for her to help me after this accident and these injuries. Instead, she dumped me and the case, after never having met or evaluated me, never giving proper professional guidance or much needed help from the accident. She let me sit and rot in pain and fracture forever. She never did anything to help me with my accident, but instead, did the above to me. At one point, she had a Wikipedia page threatening my arrest and to put me in jail. Yes, she did. Yes, this is who this person is. I did not know at the time, after all, i had been in an accident and wasn't thinkng clearly, i had a head injury with pain and injuries that i feel to this day, that 5 star ratings can be faked. So, as a community service, and out of social obligation, i shared my disappointing, cruel experience with the yelp community. She sued me, and got away with it based on fraud, and then also tried to sue yelp.com. She lost the case and has tried relentlessly, spent untold amounts of money to keep fighting it. yelp never thought the review was libelous or defamatory and thus left it up. Dawn Hassell violated the constitution and law by threatening to arrest me and prevent me from talking about her. She doesn't know about the first amendment. Aren't lawyers supposed to know about and honor the laws and constitution? This has been confusing. How can actual practicing lawyers get away with such behavior and obvious violations of and disrespect for the law and constitution? The community has a right to know the truth and I have a right to tell it. That is what makes America what it is. So, having a lawyer abuse that and get away with it is shocking. And that they would actually list and maintain a 5 star rating is an insult to everyone.

Dawns firm is a power house of hard working professionals. I feel my case could not have been better represented. No lofty promises. Infact just a down to earth approach, with the conviction of a pit bull. Her firm demonstrated a knowledge of the jurisdictions demographic make up in considering the b...est approach for the best outcome. Was I satisfied with my cases outcome? Hell no.
