A life changer

Charles Carbone helped my friend, a 42 year prison veteran, change his life, his understanding of his crime, his place in the community. He did not simply do legal work, he did transformative personal counseling. Without Carbone's straight talk, experience and persistence, my friend would not have ...been granted parole.

Best Prisoner Rights Lawyer you will find!

Mr. Carbone is a competent, prepared and compassionate professional! He is an outstanding advocate in his field of expertise. Mr. Carbone has an outstanding reputation with the Commissioners and is respected among his peers. We hired Mr. Carbone after years of parole denials for my brother. Mr. Carb...one used successful strategies to help my brother be able to communicate effectively with the Board, which was extremely difficult for him after years of denials. Mr. Carbone also communicated in a timely manner answering any concerns or questions we had for him. He was caring and compassionate. He took a lot of time meeting with my brother getting to know him and worked with him to help him be successful at his hearing on January 4, 2019. We are elated to be able to say that after 39 years of denials, my brother is coming home! Thank you Mr. Carbone we are eternally grateful for your hard work on my brothers behalf.

Unethical

Carbone was paid for a consultation with an inmate and he wasn't prepared. He had asked to have the transcripts from the last parole board hearing mailed to him so that he could read them before the consultation. He didn't read them and didn't even have them with him for the consultation. Luckily ...the inmate brought them with him. This particular inmate had been put on hard C status prior to meeting with Carbone due to an overdose or should I say an attempted suicide as this inmate had pretty much lost all hope. Once Carbone found out he was on hard C status and without knowing or asking why this inmate was on hard C status Carbone treated this inmate like a piece of dirt. He gave him no information about what he needed do over the next year and a half to prepare to go to the board again. Carbone did nothing as far as any service for his consultation fee which to me is robbery. If he claims to be a professional he should act like one.

Suitable for Parole 28 years later!

Our family hired Mr. Carbone for our baby brother who was convicted as a youth to 25 to Life with 2 consecutive life sentences for what should have been manslaughter after he was stabbed by a army vet suffering from PTSD. Instead LAPD and their history of false reports painted another picture. Our fa...mily saturated our home equity, life savings, retirements hiring 2 others lawyers who did nothing in fact was later disbarred for countless ineffective counsel. On our moms death bed she pleaded with us never to forget her baby boy who has been locked up for 28 years since a baby boy. On 9/20/2018 our brother was at last found suitable for parole and will be home soon. Mr. Carbone is a man of his word, he makes no empty promises but state the facts as presented to him. He has timely email and call back despite I imagine his heavy caseloads. He is passionate about what he does and you can feel it. He is very versed in law and made several in person visits as planned to chat with our brother to review his case. This is almost unheard of in our 28 yr wait for an attorney to visit him in person. He likely never made a profit from us based on the low low retainer and his travel expenses an countless calls and reports. he is the real deal. There is hope although hard to find good lawyers I can guarantee Mr, Carbone is the real deal. He will not promise you any results except that he will do his very best so long as the inmate does his part. Looking at all these 2018 releases on this post makes me so very very proud. Our family will personally honor Mr. Carbone as lawyer of the quarter century...you have no idea what his fight means to our family. Hire him NOW if you are seeking justice. We are still rejoicing and in disbelief. Their is HOPE Mr. Carbone is being used by God no doubt for justice and I can write until my fingers fall off but you get the picture by now that Mr. Carbone is in it to win it aka justice for so many deserving inmates that systemic oppressive systems have set out to toss guys out like trash..Oh but not on Mr. Carbone watch!!!

" Yes, Parole Does Matter"

Certainly when I needed legal representation, Charles Carbone was the gentlemen for the job. I honestly believe that everything he did to prepare me for the board helped me to be found suitable for parole. I can not thank him enough. Regard & Gratitude, Kevin Johnson
