Charles Francis Carbone

I was in prison for over 20 for attempted murder invloving a law enforcement officer. I was denied parole three times and my family spent over ten thousand dollars. My mother insisted I hire Charles carbone this time. Boy was I sure glad I did. I was granted parole in October. I was ultimately releas...ed in February. If you want an intelligent and articulate attorney who will fight like hell for you I would hire Carbone. Freedom is worth all the money in the world. I shall have wrote this review years back when he was hired. My family hired to provide the services as a lawyer but that was not the case. My family had faith and were hopeful. By all means now - He was informative, receptive at first but after receiving the first part of the money he neglected the ...case. I had no knowledge or experience and let him run the case how he choose to. He then received the second part of the money and came back to inform he had done his work and left my family in the same situation. It’s sad when those take advantage of the those who lack knowledge. I reported him to the BAR per advice of another attorney and set my peace. I forgive you and send you light. May you be given strength in your karma pattern.

Attorney Carbone represented my brother who is a "lifer" in a California State Prison, with his Parole Hearing. I am the daughter of a lifer. My father has been incarcerated mostly my whole life. I've spent countless hours visiting my father in prison and have felt like I am in prison too. I cannot express the vulnerability that existed before hiring Mr. Carbone. We hired Mr. Carbone this past summer 2018 to r...epresent my father after he received a grant of parole and then had his suitability reversed by the governor. We knew we had reached the point in time where it was a legal battle, and after years of attorney's we knew we needed to ensure he had solid representation. After extensive research, we found Mr. Carbone and decided that we should have a consultation. From the get-go, I knew that Mr. Carbone was different from the attorney's in the past. Many times before I felt that attorneys we hired were always 'on the clock' and didn't quite understand that we as families feel so desperate to get our loved ones home. Mr. Carbone is the complete opposite; you absolutely cannot place a price tag on his dedication to his clients. He is exceptionally straight forward and will not offer a false sense of hope. He diligently reviewed my father's case and represented him thoroughly and honestly- utterly different than any attorney in the past. Over the course of 9 months, Mr. Carbone properly prepared my father to go before the board, and with Mr. Carbone, at my father's side, he was once again found suitable for parole. We have received so much more than what we paid for. The uncertainty of going before the board still was extremely stressful, yet Mr. Carbone was with us every step of the way. He made sure that my father was heard, and with him at my father's side during the hearing my father was confident and peaceful. There is no doubt in my mind that because of Mr. Carbone by father was once again found suitable. While we are enjoying our current victory, should the governor reverse my father's grant of parole again, Mr. Carbone will continue to fight for my father. Our family feels blessed, honored, and relieved to have had Mr. Carbone at our side; my father truly could not be represented better by anyone else. I cannot recommend him enough! Carbone was paid for a consultation with an inmate and he wasn't prepared. He had asked to have the transcripts from the last parole board hearing mailed to him so that he could read them before the consultation. He didn't read them and didn't even have them with him for the consultation. Luckily ...the inmate brought them with him. This particular inmate had been put on hard C status prior to meeting with Carbone due to an overdose or should I say an attempted suicide as this inmate had pretty much lost all hope. Once Carbone found out he was on hard C status and without knowing or asking why this inmate was on hard C status Carbone treated this inmate like a piece of dirt. He gave him no information about what he needed do over the next year and a half to prepare to go to the board again. Carbone did nothing as far as any service for his consultation fee which to me is robbery. If he claims to be a professional he should act like one.
