Charles Francis Carbone

I am a lifer who is able to type this review because I am now home due in large part to the work of Charles Carbone. The first time I used Charles was following a hearing where many of my answers were of the simple "Yes/No"; Charles worked with me to improve my communication skills so that I becam...e able to talk to the commissioners and hit the points I needed to have said. Each hearing thereafter, I became better focused using Charles' mock hearing technique of asking the really hard questions. Charles got me to look at areas of my addictive behaviors that were directly relevant to my life crime. He pointed me to resources and even gave me some books to read that were particularly helpful in my development of insight. I can say, UNEQUIVOCALLY, that I was found suitable twice and then paroled because of the extraordinary work of Charles Carbone.

Charles "CARBONE" Is not the best lawyer HE IS THE ONLY LAWYER!!! Carbone is a straight shooter with knowledge upon knowledge of the criminal justice system! He does not sugar coat, nor mis guide even when it's not what you necessarily want to hear. He has represented my husband for 7 years. My husb...and is a double lifer and "CARBONE" got us a YES!!! He knows exactly what the board wants, needs, and expects. Trustworthy, honest, and reliable!! All of which and more he is. He holds you tight to your own responsibilities. He lays out the plan of action and if you follow through he will due exactly what he promises to do! BE YOUR POWER!! If your looking for someone to feed you a bunch of bull this isn't the lawyer for you!! If you looking for some sweet talking crap feeding lawyer to take your money and make you feel special and end it with no results this isn't the lawyer for you! I walked into Mr. Carbones office and told him what I wanted. Then I was told exactly what needed to be done in order for that to happen. He could of taken our money and told me sure ok and then we would of lost! Instead it was his plan of action, he takes every single case personal and works diligently on every one! Especially behind the scenes!! The end result is a solid REPRESENTATION and RELATIONSHIP!! I have and will continue to RECOMMEND "CARBONE" to every lifer out there! Several other inmates that I personally referred to Carbone have also gotten their date and the others are in line to get theirs as soon as they get their part done!! You have to believe in your lawyer and to know he knows what's best!! "CARBONE" Absolutely knows what's best! He does not banter! He sticks it two them. Which is what gets the results! He is a solid, hard working, committed, informative lawyer! He does not babysit you. He works hard on your case for the end result to be what you want!! A WIN WITH NO SUGAR COATING OR DO YOU WANT A LOSS WITH ALL THE ICING!! YOU CHOOSE! Confidence/reliability/Solidarity!! That is most definitely MR. CHARLES CARBONE!!! I put my life into his hands and his head!! AND HE GAVE ME BREATH AND A HAPPY FUTURE!! MY HUSBAND WILL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS THANKS TO CHARLES CARBONE!!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

Charles Carbone has been the best lawyer we have ever hired. He is very professional , knowledgeable, and easy to contact. My brother was granted Parole in September 2014 thanks to Mr. Carbone. With his knowledge and expertise he was able to convince the Parole Board that my brother deserves a second... chance after 20 years of incarceration. I truly think that without him, this would have not been possible. I felt at peace knowing that my brother was going to his hearing with the best Representation in California. He is very knowledgeable of the parole process, and prison system. I would recommend Mr. Carbone to anyone who wants the best representation for their loved one. He is incredible at taking care of the District Attorney as well. He has brought much happiness to our family getting my brother approved twice for parole, Back to back due to a recent disciplinary event. Attorney Carbone has been the biggest blessing to our incarcerated family member and our family. He represented a Lifer of 20 years and got him a date, not once but twice! We will all be eternally grateful for his work, expertise and relentless efforts in helping our family member getting granted pa...role. Not only did Carbone live up to what he promised, he surpassed it. He was clear at all times with our options, and he made sure he explained all possible outcomes (good and bad). When our family first hired Attorney Carbone for a subsequent parole hearing, I did tons of research on him and read every article I could find on him. I was impressed to say the very least. I can honestly say he lived up to our expectations and brought an inexplicable amount of joy to our family after both of his representations at our family member's parole hearings. In reading the transcript of the first hearing in January, I know Carbone was knowledgeable, well versed and determined to fight for prisoner rights. Just yesterday, Carbone pulled what we all feel is a miracle. He was able to represent my family member after a recent write up and now, my family member will finally see freedom after 20 years of incarceration that began when he was only a minor. Carbone met with my family member several times before each hearing, kept communication clear and really prepared him for his hearing. After being represented by several public defenders in his other parole hearings, Carobone's professionalism and guidance gave our family member hope and a strong sense of a real possibility of one day getting out. More than anything, Carbone "kept it real" with our family member and plainly told him he was not sugar coating anything. From my standpoint, I appreciate that Carbone really made my family member dig deep and realize how his past decisions led up to the crime committed and forced him to gain a level of insight that had not been acknowledged in all his prison life. In short, it is difficult to find good attorneys and even more so to find great post-conviction attorneys who truly understand and advocate for prisoner rights. His stats alone should speak for themselves. We lucked out with Carbone and will always be grateful for what he has done for our family member and our family.
