I agree with Alena. You are to show good moral character for 5 years before filing. Also if you are on probation, you should wait.

Apply now. Once petition is approved, file goes to the NVC and then to the Consulate. It takes approximately 9-12 months for the entire process.

Yes you are eligible for EB2 category, however the job opening should require a Master's degree for this position.
