Our case was a significant and complex case with the table filled with attorneys (for the county, for the foster boys, for the mother, for one of the fathers). Each ruling towards the appropriate termination of parental rights were appealed along the way. As the foster/adoptive parents, we were no...t represented until we hired David. It was the longest parental rights termination case in California at the time (in part due to the multiple appeals). But David navigated our interests well and ensured that the termination process kept the focus on the readiness of the parents for reunification (and in our case, they were not ready/fit to be parents).
