We are from Los Angeles with out of legal status over one year already. With the help of Baughman & Wang, Attorneys at Law, I was granted asylum in November, 2017. My attorney, Mr Baughman is such a detail-oriented and patient person. He answered all my questions and whenever there was any confusion, he would find different ways to explain it to me until I fully understo...od. Mr Baughman met with me a few times before my immigration court to discuss all questions in my application, he is such a thoughtful person that even reminded me of my outfit, behaviours and wording in the court. Also he figured out that it would be a good idea for me to have some witnesses to verify my christianity in the court. Following Mr Baughman’s advice, I asked few sisters in my church to be my witness in the immigration court. Mr Baughman called all my witnesses personally and helped them to better understand my application and my purpose. Mr Baughman also answered all their questions regarding my case. As a result, the presence of witnesses was one of the most important factors that the Judge approved my asylum request. Because my husband also applied asylum in los angeles back to 2003, but he didn’t get approved yet. So Mr Baughman contacted my husband’s attorney in los angeles and discussed with him regarding my husband’s case, so Mr Baughman could figure out what was going on in my husband’s case and then make any necessary changes in my application regarding my husband’s part.
