After nearly 40 years of business insolvency and bankruptcy litigation practice in prominent large firms, in October 2013 I formed a two-lawyer boutique with Tobias Keller, another former Jones Day partner. My experience includes representing chapter 11 debtors in possession and trustees, committees, asset buyers, secured and unsecured creditors, and parties in a wide range of insolvency-related litigation; and I've counseled numerous businesses on insolvency-related issues. At Keller & Benvenutti LLP, we focus on on complex business insolvency matters and disputes, with flexibility to accept engagements that often are not feasible at a big firm. We can handle interesting engagements that are "too small" for a mega-firm. Our staffing is necessarily lean. Clearing conflicts is much simpler and faster. We believe our greatest strengths, and the added value that we offer our clients, are our experience and our judgment which enable us to identify our client's legal alternatives, recommend the best option for the client's situation, and implement the chosen strategy effectively and efficiently. We value referrals from other lawyers and welcome co-counsel arrangements where they make sense for the client. If we are not the right lawyers to handle your matter, we will tell you so, and will try to help you find other lawyers who are.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
