Michael David Nelson

Since 1994, Mr. Nelson has dedicated himself to representing individual and groups of workers in matters of wrongful termination, employment discrimination, reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, prevailing, minimum and overtime wage claims, meal and rest periods, and a variety of other matters. Clients have ranged from venture capitalists to mechanics, doctors to farm workers, nurses to truck drivers, public service officers to construction hands, and deputy district attorneys to asphalt workers. Michael has also repeatedly been a court-certified class action attorney and he’s recovered many millions of dollars for California workers.

Michael has also represented local labor unions affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, International Union of Operating Engineers, International Longshore and Warehouse Union, Transport Workers Union, Service Employees International Union, United Food and Commercial Workers, California Nurses Association, and California Teachers Association to name a few.
