The Law Office of John P. Campion provides counsel to those accused of all felony and misdemeanor crimes, including but not limited to, DUIs, Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, Drug Possession and/or Sales, White Collar Crimes, Juvenile and Expungements
I am a native San Franciscan and graduated with a Juris Degree from the University of San Francisco Law School in 2001. I have been an advocate for the accused since 2003. My office handles all felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. I have represented clients in cases involving life exposure, violent crimes including sex offenses and domestic violence, DUI vehicular manslaughter, DUIs with priors, white collar embezzlement, grand theft, various drug offenses including possession for sale, Fish & Game violations, Juvenile offenses, expungements, DMV licensing issues and more.
I have had many difficult cases over the years for which I have delivered excellent results for my clients. Here are just a few: 1) A mistrial (hung jury) on a 3 strikes, life in prison, sex case where indigent defendant was freed from jail; 2) numerous dismissals or charge reductions at trial on DV and assault cases; 3) the granting of a Coram Nobis motion and dismissal of a conviction enabling a commercial fisherman to keep his fishing license and continue his livelihood; 4) no jail time and reduction from felony to misdemeanor on a $15,000 embezzlement of a non-profit by a local police officer; 5) no jail time and reduction from felony to misdemeanor where defendant was charged w possession for sale and assaulting an officer causing injury; 6) a dismissal on a felony where client was arrested and charged with allegedly evading the police in a vehicle chase where counsel’s investigation discovered the real perpetrator of the crime; 7) the release and exoneration after 4 months in custody of a 15 year old juvenile involved in a felony drive-by shooting where the prosecution wanted my client to stay incarcerated until the age of 25. That client went on to graduate from UC Santa Cruz and is now a teacher.
I aim to provide the most diligent and zealous representation possible and treat each client’s case, whether felony or misdemeanor or DMV issue, with the care and attention each client expects and deserves. I am an Advocate for the Accused.
