Cameron Sellers Laughlin

Cameron Sellers decided to become a founding member of the firm after gaining executive management and in-house counsel experience for a variety of technology companies in Silicon Valley. She recognized the need for a new style of law firm that provides clients with a high quality service at a much lower rate than the large law firms.

She has represented private and publicly-held emerging growth companies with specialization in corporate partnering, strategic alliances, licensing, distribution and commercialization, both domestic and international, intellectual property counseling and protection, corporate law, private and public financings, and mergers and acquisitions; her industry focus has been on the internet (including SaaS offerings), electronic commerce and computer software and hardware.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Sellers was General Counsel of Exponential Interactive, Inc. and both the Associate General Counsel (2007-2012) and General Counsel (2004-2007) for Blue Coat Systems, Inc. (a public company in the computer networking space).

Prior to this Ms. Sellers was the General Counsel for CommerceNet (2003-2004) and Perfect Commerce, Inc. (1999-2003). Ms. Sellers started her career as an associate at Gunderson Dettmer (1995-1999) specializing in corporate partnering and other technology transactions.

Ms. Sellers holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Law Review. She also obtained a B.S. in Biopsychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Ms. Sellers is a member of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar.
