7/8/08: As managing associate with the Law Office of Robert Tayac, I handled all major phases of this case. Client, a car dealership owner, was arrested for DUI folloing a rear end collision result ... ing in charges being filed in San Jose. I personally settled client's case for him in front of Judge Allego for a minimal punishment: three years of informal probation, fines and fees, 8 days of SWAP and only a THREE MONTH DUI SCHOOL...Almost all .20% BAC cases result in 6 to 9 month DUI schools and can restrict driver's licenses' for extended periods of time. My associate, Marsanne Weese handled the restitution component of this case and successfully handled all insurnance communication and the eventual settlement of the restitution claim which did not finalize until late March of 2008. Overall an excellent result based on the high BAC and collision factors.
