Responsive and kind
Margaret filed my O-1A petition. She made the process easy and communicated everything to me. I felt taken care of. I definitely recommend Margaret Espinal!

Great TN lawyer
I needed a quick TN for an employee. Margaret jumped on a call and walked us through the process. She expedited preparation of the visa and then had another call with the employee to guide him through the process. She was very knowledgeable and skilled. Would highly recommend!

H-1B Lawyer
Margaret is a fantastic lawyer. She filed several H-1Bs for our company. The process was smooth. She warned us of the risks and worked with us to put together strong applications. The H-1Bs were approved. We could not be happier.

So helpful! Thank you!
I was at risk of needing to leave the US because my previous company's lawyer made an error. Margaret figured out how to save me and my family and I now have our green cards. Thank you!

Terrible, best avoided.
Margaret applied for an E-2 for me while she worked for Cornerstone Law Group. I'm guessing this was the first time she applied for this type of visa. He made terrible mistakes, namely stating that I should apply for only 2 of the 5 years in the DS-160. The E-2 is a 5 year visa, as a result of her a...
Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry you had a negative experience. Please review the USCIS website re E-2 visas (https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/temporary-workers/e-2-treaty-investors), and you will see that the initial E-2 and any subsequent extensions are approved with a maximum of 2 years. So even if you had requested longer on the DS-160, the most the E-2 can be approved for is 2 years. You may be confusing the DS-160's request for status with the validity of the visa stamp (which is only used for entry into the US and may be issued for 5 years depending on your home country). Once you are here it's your status that determines your stay, and that can only be granted in 2 year increments. Respectively, we did not provide incorrect advice on this matter. Additionally, as you noted, you contacted me with further questions after I left Cornerstone. Because your Agreement was with Cornerstone, I was no longer in the position to continue to provide advice on the E-2. I did however provide 2 contacts at Cornerstone (with whom you had already communicated) who could answer any of your questions. Again, I am sorry for your negative experience, and I wish you all the best.
