The Law Offices of Jeffrey Brandstetter is a boutique law firm specializing in entertainment, intellectual property and business law, including film, television, music, literary, new media, film financing, real estate and general business matters.  I personally have over 23 years' experience in the entertainment industry, and have counseled and represented a wide array of entertainment, intellectual property and high-tech clients (ranging from very high profile to new artists), including recording artists, songwriters, indie record labels, publishing companies, sports figures, managers, concert/event promoters, accountants, film and television producers, writers, production companies, distributors, film/music manufacturers, financiers, and Internet and high-tech startups.

I have extensive transactional and litigation experience, including drafting and negotiation of all contracts, licenses, deal memos and private placement memoranda necessary for the development, production, distribution and financing of film, video, television, music and new media content across all major distribution platforms and outlets (online, mobile and offline) in domestic and foreign territories, as well as entity formation, governance and dissolution.  My multiple litigation successes include obtaining and collecting on a multi-million dollar judgment for a writer client; successfully briefing, arguing and prevailing before the California Court of Appeal on First Amendment issues; and recapturing, prosecuting and policing the Rhodes® piano trademark and trade dress rights worldwide.

In addition to my law practice, I have over 11 year's experience as a film distributor, and am the CEO of IndiePlaya <>, the game-changing online film distribution and marketing platform that optimizes direct-to-fan distribution of independent film to highly targeted audiences with proprietary DIY marketing tools, comprehensive business intelligence and social media integration.
