Sivan Harary

Sivan Harary received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, in 2009. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2011 and the California Bar in 2012. She also received a Master's Degree in International Human Rights from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in 2009, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2001. 

Ms. Harary joined Becker & Lee LLP in 2013. She has experience in various areas of immigration law, including U visas, asylum, VAWA, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, removal defense, naturalization, family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration. With an interest in human rights, Ms. Harary has spent much of her time working with victims of violent crimes, specifically victims of domestic violence. She was an Immigrant Rights Fellow with the International Institute of the Bay Area in Oakland, CA and has volunteered for several nonprofit organizations in Denver, CO and in the bay area. She studied Inter-American Human Rights Law in Costa Rica and International Human Rights Law in The Netherlands. She has studied and/or worked in Spain, Costa Rica, The Netherlands, and South Korea. Ms. Harary is proficient in Spanish.
