Matthew B. Borden

Matt has successfully tried cases in federal and state courts in California, and litigated dozens of class actions, intellectual property disputes, and other complex commercial cases for business clients across the U.S. and internationally. He has also successfully served as class counsel in impact litigation, including a recent case that will change the way psychotropic drugs are used in nursing homes. Matt also has extensive experience with appeals in federal, state and territorial courts. In an appeal Matt argued in the Federal Circuit in 2010, he won a published defense judgment invalidating all the patent claims asserted against his client over a strong dissent.
