Worth it
Surprised at previous reviewer. Yes, I agree pricey. That is because she is worth it. Wicked smart, effective, listens. Compassionate. In my time of need, these were worth more than dollars.

Terrible lawyer, do not hire
Said she would work with me then back out and offered no explanation. Handed me off to an inexperienced junior associate who completed messed up my custody case. Was deeply rude and condescending when I asked her to get back involved in the case.

Gretchen Rubel is evil
I consulted with Gretchen before my custody battle. She told me that Hersh Family Legal will do anything to win. She said she is good friends with all the family court attorneys in the Marin County Court and if I hired her I would not only get full custody, my x would never see our our kids again. ...
