Frank Wong Yuen

I first worked with Frank in 2000 when he gave my family guidance on how to deal with a very complicated inheritance issue regarding some rental properties in SF. Not only did he save our family enormous estate taxes, but he showed tremendous patience in explaining the various trusts concepts to ac...hieve our goals. Fast forward +20 years later, we needed help in selling some properties to minimize taxes again. We were concerned that that Frank might have retired but thankfully, not only was he still active in practice but to our pleasant surprise, his daughter Erica had joined him. Again they helped us navigate a very complex situation which was made more difficult by the Covid restrictions. Needless to say, he connected us to the right people, saved us a ton of money, and simplified things for us by doing all the heavy lifting. I’m generally am not one to write reviews but I wanted to share my experience with everyone about Yuen Law. There is absolutely no hesitation on my part in recommending Frank and Erica Yuen when it comes to estate planning and trust creation. That have a unique skill set that few attorneys can match. I’m very confident that you will be pleased with them to say the least.

Frank was very responsive to our estate planning needs. He suggested that we write down any questions that we may have in setting up our Trust and send it to him in advance so that the consultation session can proceed efficienttly. That suggestion helped a lot and made the process that much more si...mplier. He explained all the legal requirements simple terms and provided us with a written summary of the Trust so that we can understand all our obligations. He is always available for clarifiying questions even after we took delivery of the Trust.

Dealt with this attorney regarding matter and while initially he was helpful, I guess after he couldn't get more money or just got tired it was total disconnect. Anytime an inquiry was made, his interaction was quite "limited". Right now he doesn't correspondence/reply directly at all. It's as if... we're bothering him, imposing. Unfortunately there are still problems taking place and we don't feel that he's willing to help resolve. His stance has been a bit passive when things should have been handled with a bit more force. It's just very frustrating that we feel that we can go to him for assistance, when that's why we hired him.
