About Claire
Biography
Claire currently serves as the firm's Managing Attorney. She is a principal of the firm and a Certified Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Claire practices in all areas of U.S. immigration law and oversees immigrant, nonimmigrant, administrative and operational teams. She is an expert in L-1 intracompany transferee visas and loves working with companies small and large to mobilize executives, managers, and key employees. Recognized as a leader in the field, she speaks regularly at conferences and seminars on immigration subjects.
She is also an elected board member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Northern California Chapter, which has more than 1,000 members and is one of the largest and most active AILA Chapters. Currently serving as Immediate Past Chapter Chair, she is responsible for coordinating educational programming and conferences, liaison relationships to government agencies, advocacy and lobbying efforts, media involvement, pro bono opportunities, member engagement, and coordination with the national organization.
Prior to joining the firm, Claire was selected for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Attorney General Honors Program, serving as Attorney Advisor to the San Francisco Immigration Court (EOIR). Claire earned her BA from the University of Washington and her JD (highest honors) from Golden Gate University School of Law.
