I focus on estate planning (the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives) and probate / estate administration matters.
I believe that estate planning is more ‘life planning’ rather than ‘death planning’. And the main goal of estate planning is to give people the legal tools they need to navigate marriage and relationships, to deal with family obligations, to take care of the most significant people in our life: spouses or partners, children or aging parents.
Estate planning allows us to protect our property upon incapacity, to keep it for those we want to protect, and, finally, to live and die, according to our own desires and beliefs.
