Gerald Herbert Scher

Running firm started by his esteemed father. Unfortunately, it is not the same. Left me with huge medical bills. He had over 6K in "costs"; some of which are "questionable." Since when does a client PAY FOR SANCTIONS or an "appearance fee" for another attorney to face the Judge about said Sanctio...ns? Where I come from, if you screw up, you make amends. It's just not the same anymore....

Handle first time out ok but never got any final paperwork and payment from disability was cashed by law firm and got me check 2 months later. A whopping $1025.00 for 2 years and no receipt or information. Contacted Gerald Sher again in 3/2008 because medical was no longer being paid for, received la...st communication in 12/2009 we would be back in court in mid January 2009 now will not return emails or phone calls nothing in 5 months….NOW OUT $2400.00 CLIENTS BEWARE

I wish I would of know more about this attorney before hiring this incompetent man. My case has been dragging on for years with this man and honestly this should of been a simple case to begin with (no need for details on case) bottom line is i have wasted a lot of my time with this man. He shows up ...late, makes you feel like you are wasting his time, will not and I repeat WILL NOT follow through with a signed contract and will avoid communication at all costs. It's pretty bad when your client does all the leg work for you Gerald!!

When I first went to this firm i was actually looking for another attorney .They never told me where he was ,but they ended up taking my case.At first i had a lady attorney who was nice ,but after a while Mr.Scher took over.He did not like returning my calls and when he did he made me feel very stupi...d for asking questions.After we went to court and he called me a name in front of people in the WCAB waiting room I knew then and there I did not want him representing me at all.I went in search of another attorney and that sure proved to be a very good move.I sure wish i did not have to deal with this attorney and I hope others learn from my mistake .
