I wanted to schedule a consultation to understand my employment rights and options. I have asked several law firms for a quote for the consultation; every lawyer was eager to take my case without spending the time to get to know my situation better. However, Stephen actually looked out for my best... interest. During the initial free consultation, he told me I probably didn't need to hire a lawyer to have my questions addressed at all; he even gave me a lot of valuable information over the phone. Even though his honesty meant that he was not be retained/making the money, he still spent 20 minutes telling me information regarding employment laws and workers rights when they are on leave. I didn't get to work with Stephen this time, but I know for sure that I will ask for his help when I have a more complicated case.
