Julian John Hubbard

I can't say enough good things about Julian Hubbard. I'd been through 2 other attorneys in my child custody case, and both of them fell short in a number of areas. Julian's background in litigation was extremely helpful in family court, as he does not fear confrontation. He brings a very calm, sensib...le, moral, and effective approach to an extremely anxiety inducing situation that I found to be most comforting. He is straight with you, no BS, and he's straight with opposing council. He brought a deadlocked situation to a relatively swift and decisive end, that was ultimately fair for all involved, especially to our child. Two things I found to be most beneficial in Julian's style. One is his humanistic approach. His studying of character (yours, the judge's, the other party and their council), body language, psyche, etc. He really wants to understand what makes them tick, in order to provide the most effective path forward. Second is his genuine desire to bring things to a positive conclusion. My other 2 attorneys were indifferent, which racked up the bills, wasted years worth of time, and generated a great deal of unnecessary anxiety. Julian did a terrific job for us, and I'm extremely grateful to him for setting things right.

Julian Hubbard has represented me for almost two years in my Family Law matter, and turned my case around. I came to Julian in the summer of 2016, with very serious concerns. The Court had appointed a Minor's Counsel who felt that I should have only weekend and holiday visitation with my children, ...and who was pandering to my ex-husband (violating a host of laws, rules, and ethics pertaining to Minor's Counsels while doing so). Nevertheless, as a result of the Minor's Counsel and his position against me, my ex-husband was awarded majority timeshare, to the detriment of our two children. Mr. Hubbard then came on board, and over the objection of both my ex-husband and the Minor's Counsel, he was able to convince the Court that we may need a change in custody. He was then able to convince a very prominent Santa Clara County child custody evaluator that my timeshare should increase to 50-50, also over the objection of the Minor's Counsel and my ex-husband. Shortly thereafter, (1) the custody evaluator issued a report recommending 50-50 timeshare; (2) the Court ordered 50-50 timeshare at a hearing based on that report; and (3) the Minor's Counsel resigned on the spot at that hearing, never to be heard from in the case again. For those readers who are unfamiliar with Family Court, it is practically impossible to remove a Court-appointed professional such as Minor's Counsel from a case. Yet, Mr. Hubbard succeeded in doing just that: Minor's Counsel resigned on the spot, realizing he had been defeated by Mr. Hubbard! This is all because Mr. Hubbard has a bit of that "magic touch." He is masterful in his presentation, both before the Court and with Court-appointed professionals who can wield tremendous power over child custody. When I told a very prominent attorney I know that Mr. Hubbard was representing me, he called him a "guru," and I believe this to be true. I am a professional holding multiple licenses in the same industry as Mr. Hubbard, working with families and children in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, and he is a family law attorney I consistently recommend to my clients if they want thorough, honest, and effective representation. As counsel, I have never seen him be vicious or mean, nor does he create more conflict in a case, rather he resolves conflict, which is instrumental to the benefit of children involved in custody disputes. He can see all sides to a case, and he will not hesitate to tell you if you are going down the wrong path, so that you can correct your course. Quite simply, he gets the job done... A++.

After being turned down for legal representation in a divorce case by no less then a dozen family law specialists in San Mateo county , Julian Hubbard ...took on my case which was a textbook example of a justice system run by a cabal made up of an unholy trinity of unscrupulous judges , attorneys and so called custody evaluators . Within few months Julian Hubbard managed to remove one judge off my case and nullify the decisions of another judge as well as to relegate two rigged child custody evaluations to the nearest waste basket , Thank You Julian.

Mr. Hubbard came highly recommended to me for help with my child custody case. Mr Hubbard has been my personal lawyer and family lawyer for the past 8 years.
