Caitlin R Maurer

Caitlin R. Maurer’s practice focuses on business and insurance litigation, including personal injury, public entity, construction defect, landlord-tenant and breach of contract disputes. She also has experience in disputes involving product liability and unfair competition.

Before law school, Ms. Maurer traveled to New Zealand and Australia to study Aboriginal legal rights movements.

Ms. Maurer obtained her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Pre-Medicine from the University of California, Davis. While in college, she interned at the University of California, Davis Medical Center.  At Golden Gate, she was a member of the Honors Lawyering Program, and received a specialization in public interest law. She clerked for the Honorable Garrett L. Wong of the San Francisco Superior Court.  She also interned with the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office where she was second-chair on a co-defendant felony murder trial.

Ms. Maurer is a member of the State Bar of California. She is admitted to practice in all California courts, including United States District Court, Northern District.  She is a member of the San Mateo Bar Association and the University of San Francisco Inns of Court.
