I hired Michael Pascoe from Aug 2024–Jan 2025 for a high-conflict divorce. After the first hearing, he said he couldn’t work well with opposing counsel and transferred my case to another attorney in the firm, who was good but still consulted with him. Communication was slow, promised actions never ha...ppened, and I was billed monthly with repeated retainer requests despite little progress. I spent a lot with no meaningful results. Not suited for complex or contentious cases.

I hired Michael to help me resolve an ongoing fight to receive child support and reimbursement for expenses that my ex simply refuses to pay. Prior to engaging with Michael, I spoke to other family law attorneys who seemed uninterested in taking my case. It made me feel that my case was hopeless. ...Then I spoke to Michael and he took the time to listen to what I’ve been through and how I was not being paid anything. Michael asked me some really good questions that other attorneys failed to do. He understood the problem and offered to help me. He then worked with another attorney in his office (Holly Price) who is an expert in child support and they were not only able to get current support paid but also arrearages and attorney fees. Michael represented me in a heated dispute involving accusations that were not true and a claim for money that was simply unjustified. It took several rounds of negotiation. However, in the end I was very pleased because we settled for a fractional amount of what was originally requested. I found Michael on Yelp and was skeptical about using ANY lawyer for my contract issues. I was very pleasantly surprised to meet Michael and find a fair, reasonable, attorney who not only knew what he was doing and gave me great business/legal advice but did not charge me out the nose. His rates we...re fair and after reviewing my contracts he was able to not only fix the problems I had but also give me great advice on areas that could potentially be pitfalls in the future. He helped me re write a contract that was ready to go and protected my interest in every way. Michael was patient and took the time to explain things to me carefully. Not only that but he was willing to see me after hours when no one else would even consider seen game after 5. Not only will I use Michael for my business again, but he suggested I do a will and trust to protect my assets. Again, he is willing to work on this with me in off hours to accommodate my schedule. Michael is truly one of the 'good guys' and a gem of a find in the legal department!!!
