Timothy Joseph Watson

Mr. Watson is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, and a partner at Watson & Machado LLP.  He works out of both Menlo Park and San Francisco, where he advises individuals and families on creating comprehensive estate plans, looking at such issues as wealth transfer, family dynamics, planning for incapacity and tax planning. He also assists executors and trustees in the administration of trusts and estates. Prior to joining Watson & Lanctot LLP, Mr. Watson worked at a micro-finance organization in Oaxaca, Mexico and, prior to that, as an associate at Gunderson Dettmer, a corporate law firm in Silicon Valley. Mr. Watson serves as advisor and board member to various nonprofit and religious groups including Un Mundo (), Puente a La Salud Comunitaria () and the 19 For Life Foundation (). He holds a B.A. from Boston College in Latin American history and received his law degree from the University of California, Davis. Mr. Watson grew up on the peninsula and now lives in Menlo Park with his wife and daughter.
