I agree with Atty Shainfeld, especially if the damage to the vehicle is significant. You should be able to get some relief under the FL UDAP law....
I recently sold my car privately and now the buyer is trying to say the motor is bad and wants to return the car, what do i do?

Some states have lemon laws on used car sales. Some states have lemon laws on private party sales. I am unsure if NJ is one of those states....
