About six months ago my life turned upside down for the worst due to some family issues. I've never needed to hire an attorney to help me fight for my life back and I didn't even know where to begin looking for one. A friend of mine recommended The Law Offices of Nancy Lara-Moscardini located in Burl...ingame, CA. Because a temporary restraining and move out order were issued, things began to move very quickly. I called the office and spoke with Nancy who gave me advice immediately. After that I set up my first free consultation. When I met Nancy I was a wreck. Nancy informed what the process was like in family Court and explained what our approach was going to be. After leaving Nancy's office I felt that I had a fighting chance and that things just might be okay. Nancy, her son Alex, and her entire office have been nothing but kind, caring, understanding, hard working, and empathetic. Their communication skills and strategic methods were amazing. From my first hearing to my last court appearance Nancy and her team have put in 100% in everything they did for me. Because of them, the restraining order was dropped, I got joint custody of my children, and so much more that I really can't write about. They never quit no matter how bad things looked and somehow they managed to find the light at the end of the tunnel. This is my first Yelp review ever but I had to take the time to write a review because I GOT MY LIFE BACK. I recommend anyone with any and all types of family law issues to come and meet Nancy and her team and let them help get your life back on track.

Over the past several years I have gone through an absolutely horrendous divorce and custody battle that was devastating to me and my children. Through this awful, several year ordeal, I was amazed at the number of unscrupulous family law attorneys out there who are just using their clients for a qui...ck payday. These type of attorneys are sadly the norm and they DO NOT actually care about you or your case, they care about how quickly they can make a buck. Thus it is imperative to find counsel that truly has your back. Nancy is the epitome of what you want from a family law attorney. Through a not so positive experience with prior counsel, I learned a very important lesson. That lesson is to interview several family law attorneys before choosing who will represent you. Nancy A. Lara-Moscardini is by far the most intelligent, respected, hard working, experienced family law counsel I have had the pleasure of knowing. These aren't even her best qualities. Nancy's best qualities include her genuineness, honesty, integrity and passion. Nancy truly cares about you, her client, and doesn't just see $. Nancy through the most challenging parts of my life was always and remains concerned for one thing and that was me and my family's health and well being. Its these qualities coupled with her skills as a family law attorney that separate her from the pack. Nancy in this difficult case navigated a very difficult opposing counsel while at the same time calming my anxiety as this all unfolded. This complex case has involved numerous aspects of family law, including custody, support, attorney fees etc. Nancy has had her practice in San Mateo County for nearly two decades and is extremely familiar with the system and is connected with a very strong network of family law practitioners, experts, judges etc. Nancy prepared me for all of the various RFOs, trials, and prepared herself for trial and counseled me about what to expect every step of the way. Nancy has such a good way with people and makes you feel calm despite the storm surrounding you. Nancy manages stress and anxiety well and through this management helped me also deal well with all the stress and anxiety of going through all that a contentious divorce entails. In the end and through Nancy's hard work and passion she has delivered extremely positive results and me and my family are now able to look forward. I can't say enough positive things about Nancy and for anyone reading this just know that Nancy is truly good people. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
