Matt did a great job pursuing a stock brokerage company that misrepresented an investment, lost money for about 75 investors in this deal and then declared bankruptcy. The case went to FNRA arbitration where he represented us and won. Then the company's insurer refused to pay the claim which required another law suit, which we also won. Matt did a great job keeping us informed every step of the way. He acted very professionally and took extra steps to do what was required to win this case.
Matt took on our difficult case when our large group thought we were going to get nothing. After a long arbitration, we all ended up getting about one-third of our investments back, instead of nothing. Matt worked very hard for us, as if it was his own money he was after. I know his firm did not really come out as well as it normally would, but Matt spent the time and effort it took to maximize our award.
Matt is a Partner at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP where he practices civil litigation in numerous areas, including financial fraud, labor and employment disputes, corporate dissolution, insurance bad faith, business and consumer litigation, and environmental law. Professional and Insightful
I have enjoyed working with Mr. Edling. He has made sure to keep me well updated and informed as to the status of my case throughout the process; beyond even the exacting detail I require. He is prompt, professional and courteous and has gone out of his way to inform himself on the business and technical aspects surrounding my case so that he may better represent my interests. I have found his advice both helpful and insightful. I could not more whole heartily endorse or recommend him.
