Jeremy F. Peck

I met with Jeremy to discuss bankruptcy options and ultimately chose not to file based on my consultation with Jeremy. He was helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. Due to his expertise, I came to the conclusion not to file. If I was going to file, I would definitely chose Jeremy to be my attorney... as he really impressed me with his professionalism and was extremely easy to talk with.

I was at my wits end dealing with trying to get a loan modification. I was told by my bank I needed to go into default before they would discuss a loan mod with me. So I went into default and then they denied me a loan modification. I received a foreclosure notice. I did a google search and found Mr.... Peck's office. He spent about 30 minutes talking with me on the phone and suggested I come in with all my paperwork. He was able me the same day. I spent about an hour in his office - I wanted him to know my story. He listened and made me feel understood. He suggested that Chapter 13 would work to allow me to get current on my mortgage and help me get rid of some big medical and tax debt I had accumulated. I went ahead and got a second opinion but came back to Mr. Peck, not because he was cheaper (apparently all Chapter 13 attorneys charge the same fees - I actually researched that as well - it's pretty accurate), but because he spent an hour and half with me and explained everything to me. The other attorney I went to only met with me for about 10 minutes after having me sit with his secretary first who just wrote down notes as I spoke. I didn't get the feeling she cared whatsoever about my situation. The attorney just said, "don't worry, we'll take care of this for you". To me that was a big red flag! While I know a lot of people fall for those types of statements, I don't. If an attorney doesn't spend time with me so I can discuss my situation in full, I don't have time for that attorney!! Mr. Peck really listened and engaged with me with respect and as an adult. He answered all my questions. I know I'm rambling...I'm 2 years into my Chapter 13 now and just got off the phone with Jeremy to ask about something and again he made himself available to answer my question. So I've decided to write this review (way over due!!) Anyway, I highly recommend Jeremy Peck for bankruptcy.

Jeremy was there every step of the way. He was always sympathetic and very kind. My BK was an emotionally painful thing to go through - I was going through a divorce and possibly losing my home all at the same time. Jeremy handled it all seamlessly and communicated with me promptly at every turn. Eve...ry snag was untangled as it happened, professionally and with courtesy not only with me but also with those he contacted on my behalf. He is clearly familiar with the local bankruptcy trustees and has their respect. I felt very safe in Jeremy's hands and I continually recommend him at every opportunity.
