I wish i would have hired Charles from the start he would have solved my problem right from the start. i chose to go with a public defender because i didn't have a lot of cash. two years later they were still giving me a run around. between the DA & public defender i took a charge that i shouldn't h...ave, then the DA added another charge way after i completed what they asked for. within 3 days after hiring Charles he got my warrant lifted & a court date scheduled that i didn't have to drive 3 hours to get to. gave me a call & informed me that everything was resolved, not to mention the cost was reasonable. Full disclosure: biased. He did not communicate at all (I mean ZERO) with someone who is very close to me during her proceedings. Even went as far as to to say, "Try to get a hold of me on weekends." I get that he's a public defender, in a county with a large caseload, and is paid by the same en...tity that pays the DA, so he has face to save. That is no excuse. Find a new career, if you cannot communicate with your clients.
