Brian Isaac Tatarian

I was in a highly contentious divorce involving a business. I didn't find out until after I was dismissed for his health issues that Brian does not go to court but will only settle with the opposing party. He also would go to meetings with the other attorney and come back each time convinced the othe...r attorney was right. He never fought for me. Also, his assistant Kim is very condescending which made for very uncomfortable conversations. I have since hired another attorney who has fought for my case since day one.

I hired Brian Tatarian back in 1992 or 93 for my child custody lawyer, he won soul physical and soul legal custody of my son and daughter for me. And I'm hoping now that my son can hire him because I really trust Brian and he won't be intimated by the other lawyer that is intimadating my son. The following is based upon my experience with Brian Tatarian as my divorce attorney. I selected Brian as my divorce attorney from a long list of prospective lawyers. Brian had an excellent reputation within the divorce lawyer community. Once he was on my case, it was clear his knowledge of the ...Family Code was second to none. His paralegal, Kim, deserves credit also as she is very knowledgeable. Brian and Kim labored through my case for several years trying to bring it to a close dealing with unreasonable demands from a slew of opposing counselors. Unfortunately, my ex-wife simply wanted to litigate everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! (Even things like property that had little value compared to the actual cost of litigation.) This was the only ‘issue’ I had with Brian (note I didn’t say ‘negative’). For reasons that were unclear to me, he didn’t seem to want to force the issue and take my case to full trial. It was my opinion that’s what it was going to take- ‘force’. Ultimately, my case was handed over to another attorney who REALLY screwed things up. That resulted in what is probably Fresno’s County’s longest running divorce case at almost 9 years. But those were unforeseen circumstances. Nevertheless, Brian represented me very well. He is a tough negotiator and his knowledge of the Family Code will make sure your rights are protected. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian for anyone that truly wants to get divorced and move on with their lives. Brian does NOT want to litigate for no other reason but to simply ‘litigate’, and he is a better person for it. (BEWARE of other pettifogger lawyers who do!)

I had a very complicated and lengthy divorce that included financial issues as well as custodial. Mr. Tatarian and his staff are the ultimate in professionalism, and expertise. The entire staff is personable, and exudes expertise. You feel very well taken care of, AND you are! He is knowledgeable ...and thoughtful. While you will rarely get to speak to Mr. Tatarian (my only complaint) outside of the courtroom, he is always well prepared. If you call with a question on your case you are handled by his very experienced paralegals. They are honest and return calls in a timely manner.
