            Joel M. Murillo graduated from UCLA School of Law, was sworn in as a lawyer, and started his law firm in 1981. Mr. Murillo primarily represents victims of automobile accidents. He is well known throughout California for voluntary service to the church and community. Within the Bar he has served as Chair of the Fresno County Bar Association Judicial Nomination and Evaluation Committee, President of the California State Bar Sargent at Arms, President of the California La Raza Lawyers Association, Blue Ribbon Commission on the Integration of the Municipal Courts into the Superior Court, and many other leadership positions. He has received dozens of awards and recognitions. He is a member of the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America, The American Bar Association, and the California State Bar. He was the Campaign Coordinator in Fresno County for Jerry Brown for Governor.
