I hired Nancy to defend me from a restraining order my ex-husband filed against me. She was never available to talk or meet with me, her secretary was rude and unhelpful, she filed my response with the court late. Despite repeating details of my case to her several times, she could never keep her und...erstanding of the case straight, she showed up to court completely unprepared and didn’t even start drafting a defense until the day if the hearing as we sat in court waiting for my case to come up. She performed poorly in defending me and a baseless restraining order was issued by the judge because she was so weak in my defense. I almost lost custody of my kids because of it. Nancy seems to have too many clients and spreads herself so thin that she can’t properly prepare for her cases or answer your questions or concerns. I could have done a better job myself and would have filed my response on time. She cost me $4500 but most importantly she nearly costed me my children’s custody which is priceless. Please inform yourself and get references from people who have had real experience with the attorney you hire because they hold your fate in your hands when you’re in front of a judge.Nancy should have declined to take my case if she didn’t have the time to properly represent me, but instead took my money and nearly cost me my children.

My fiance and I hired Nancy to represent us on two separate cases. Both cases were filed by the mother of his son. The first case was against him which was a domestic violence restraining order which resulted in a temporary restraining order that prohibited the current custody order he had in pl...ace. He couldn't see or speak to his son. During the hearing, Nancy was active in response when the accuser tried to lie and come up with allegations and hearsay information against my fiance. At the end of this hearing, the judge dismissed the case and reinstated the custody order that was in place prior to this. After the hearing, Nancy was able to speak to her and convinced her to drop the case against me. If not, she told her that we will file against her. She ended up dropping the case against me because of Nancy. Nancy was able to come up with a reasonable agreement with her that worked out on our behalf. She was able to deal with her (which I must praise her for because that woman is a handful) and work something out that made all parties involved happy. She drafted, finalized, and filed the dismissal paperwork for my case. She kept in contact with us through this whole ordeal. The paperwork were filed in a timely manner. She kept us up-to-date with what was going on. Nancy is assertive, experienced, and have a specialization in family law. She is fair and is realistic about everything, even if it is something we don't want to hear. During our consultation, she listened and knew we were innocent. She was very calm and supportive throughout the entire ordeal. She has all of the qualities you need in a great lawyer: experience, attitude, appearance, certifications, and a genuine heart. She cares about her clients and is great at what she does. She eliminated the anxiety and stress we had because of these cases against us. She was worth every penny; you get what you pay for.

There are no words to express how pleased and taken care of that I feel by Nancy and her office staff. She is the perfect blend of having the expert knowledge and compassion that one needs while guiding you through a very difficult time.
