David Ibarra

David Ibarra graduated from California State University of Fresno in 2006, with a degree in political science and a minor in philosophy. He was a member of Chicanos in Law and Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity. As a winner of the Maddy Institute Scholarship/Internship, Mr. Ibarra interned for the office of U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer.
In 2007, David began his graduate studies at San Joaquin College of Law. He received his Juris Doctor and was admitted to the bar in 2010. While at SJCL, he founded the student organization LawSUIT (Law Students United in Tolerance) and served as president of the organization for three years. He was awarded Student of the Year in 2008 and he also served as the Student Bar Association class representative and president. He was a member of Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity and he interned for the public defender's office.
He is currently a member of the La Raza Lawyers Association and California Applicant Attorney Association. Mr. Ibarra and his wife, Jennell Casillas, founded the Ibarra/Casillas Scholarship for SJCL law students. Mr. Ibarra is currently a partner of The Law Offices of Goldberg & Ibarra and practices workers' compensation, Social Security and personal injury
