I found Mr. King to be unprepared and unresponsive. My guess is he spent very close to zero time in the preparation of my case. He made a good sales pitch to get my business, but he turned out to be all talk. And after I paid him, I rarely heard from him. I honestly believe I would have done just... as well using an inexperienced, stressed-out, over-worked public defender, and doing so would have saved me a lot money.
