Recently I have been representing consumers taken advantage of by a national lender charging illegal triple-digit interest rates without disclosing the financing terms at the time of sale in violation of California's Financing and Consumer laws. Excellent specific advice

She answered my questions with specific and direct answers, without just advising I get an attorney like most do on this site. I did try to hire her to draft a demand letter for me but she wasn't taking on new clients. The best are always busy.

Best lemon law attorney in town

After being frustrated and not knowing what to do with my unsafe new car my mechanic handed me a business card and I called and set up an appointment for a consultation. I felt confident during the consultation that this attorney was definitely going to fight for everything I deserved. She fought for a year or so and got my loan paid and a substantial amount for a down payment. I am in a new car and I will definitely be recommending her to anyone that is in the situation that I was in.

Glad to have support through this ordeal!

After experiencing multiple transmission issues and repairs with my vehicle I felt as though I would be left stranded once my warranty was up. Through a referral I met Alicia. She explained my legal remedies against the manufacturer and helped me to develop realistic expectations of how things would play out if I did choose to pursue legal action. She also explained what we should do to improve the chances of our case prevailing such as keeping detailed records, retaining any service orders and correspondence. Many months passed as we waited for another transmission malfunction but we knew Alicia and her staff were just a short call away. In late Fall 2017, Alicia notified me that the manufacturer was settling cases and we had a high likelyhood that ours would also be settled. She explained the entire process and gave pointers on what to watch out for, which I'm very thankful she did. During my vehicle return at the dealer I was handed a form stating i had received payment. Thankfully I knew what could be signed and what shouldn't based upon the advice Alicia had provided. In the end our settlement was more than anything we would have expected. Although the process was long and frustrating, I was glad I had Alicia to walk me through the process. The end result was definitely worth it.

A remarkable lawyer

I went into mrs. hintons office to get advice on a transmission problem with my 2014 car I won’t say which car company but it’s one of the big three. Not only did I hire her but she took all the worries away with all of her knowledge I walked away with a great settlement ! So again thank you mrs. Hinton and god bless you for helping all of us lil guys just trying to make ends meat.

Crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's very thorough.

Alicia Hinton was very professional in the way she handled my case from the beginning to a successful conclusion. The case was handled out of court in my favor against an unsavory used car dealership. Her office staff was great also. I would highly recommend Alicia to anyone.

Genuine as well as competant

Legal situations are always emotional. In the past, I dealt with an attorney who listened far too long to the emotional turmoil associated with a case, then charged me for time she didn't need to spend with me. I thought I was giving my first attorney important details but she could have simply and gently helped me focus on the legal essentials. Ms. Hinton handled my next legal situation quickly and efficiently, gently hearing surrounding circumstances but not wasting her time or my time and money on details that--while important to me--were not part of the legal aspects of my situation. I highly recommend her services.
